The International Fabric Design Contest was organized by the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association (İTHİB), which carries out projects to support young designers, develop global design perception and perspectives, create new projects applicable to the sector, and ensure that the project outputs are used in the industry, under the coaching of Designer Tuvana Büyükçınar.

Tuvana Büyükçınar explained the details of the competition, which was organized to increase the ability of aspiring designers, to enable designers to closely follow global trends and develop their perspectives, to give the opportunity to learn at work, to increase the fabric design perception of the Turkish textile industry and to meet the need for qualified designers. Students continue their preparations for the contest rapidly in line with the information they have received.
