Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School Program of Banking and Insurance organized an e-seminar titled "Markets, Psychology and Trend Tracking: Lessons after Lehman" on Friday, March 05, 2021. Fund Manager, Financial Advisor, Strategist Işık Ökte was the guest of the e-seminar moderated by  Lecturer A. Berrak Köten, Head of the Evening Education Program of Banking and Insurance. In the e-seminar, Işık Ökte gave information about the functioning of financial markets, the reflections of central bank policies, the course of financial assets, starting from the period in which Lehman Brothers announced the bankruptcy in 2008 and which is accepted as the milestone of the global financial crisis. Işık Ökte, who also answered questions from participants and students, gave advice to students who want to work in the financial sector. While examining the market effects of global-based and Turkey-based events, Işık Ökte, offering short-term trade and long-term portfolio investment recommendations to investors, shared her predictions on financial assets with all our participants and students.
