The webinar titled “How Zeynep Tosun Brings Two Different Worlds Together? Traditional & Innovative ” was held by Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School on Monday, January 25, 2021.
Zeynep Tosun, who entered the fashion life by going to the Istituto di Marangoni in Milan-Italy after completing her undergraduate education on business, stated that she received a job offer from Alberta Ferretti after her graduation and that she developed herself especially in 'haute couture' as a member of the Alberta Ferretti design team. When she returned Turkey she won the 3rd place Koza Young Fashion Designers in 2007 and she talked about her education and sector experiences and how she established her own brand. Stating that she entered the sector by designing haute couture and ready-to-wear collections, Tosun said; she made special designs for many names such as Lady Gaga, Nicole Scherzinger and Kate Hudson. At The seminar drew attention to the fact that Zeynep Tosun's collections are also used in fashion shoots of many European publications such as British Vogue, Indian Vogue, British I-D, Vogue Italia and Elle Italia, The subjects our students were curious about were answered. . Our guest, who shared all of her experiences from her education life to her social responsibility projects, also gave advice to our students.
