Istanbul Kültür University Accounting and Auditing Club organized an e-seminar titled "2020s: Accounting, New Career Areas and Trends in Finance and Control" with the ACCA Turkey Cooperation, on January 6, 2021, Wednesday, via Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application. The event started with the opening speech and vote of thanks of İbrahim Şahin Cesur, Vice Head of the Accounting and Auditing Club & 2nd year student from the program of Business Management. In the event which is moderated by the Head of the Program of Business Management Lecturer Gözde Bircan, the speaker was Filiz Demiröz, Turkey and the ACCA and Head of Emerging Markets; the topics such as, importance of ACCA professional qualification certificates, the transformation of accounting, finance and auditing in the digital world, 20 new career trends and future career areas in accounting, finance and auditing in the 2020s, new talents that will increase in importance with digitalization, the adoption of professional digital technologies by professional professionals, the digital skills of accounting and finance professionals and the importance of pursuing a career in finance and accounting were discussed. The event, attended by many students from the Programs of Business Management, Banking and Insurance, Logistics and Health Institutions Management, ended with answering the questions.
