A must in university and the very first step towards business life: INTERNSHIPS
Today's business world requires work experience even from new graduates.
And the golden key to business life is having references.
So how can a student gain work experience?
How can a student find references unless his/her parents have acquaintance in the business world?
All the answers lie in INTERNSHIPS.
Students who complete internship and work in part-time jobs throughout their university education will already have work experience by the time they graduate and will meet new people who can be their references, in other words, their golden key to business life.
As all companies and all people in the business world are in a business relation with different companies as well, people that students meet during their internship are keys not only to the company where they receive their training but also to other companies.
Internship applications to multinational companies are no different than normal job applications. Graduates who have completed their internship there are prioritized when they apply for the job.
Small and medium sized enterprises enjoy the advantages of recruiting qualified university students and then training these students by themselves.
Another plus side of internships is that students become familiar business life and realize which sector/department they are interested in.
The best method of finding out whether a job is appropriate for a person is spending time with a professional of that specific profession.
Business life is much easier for students who gain a university experience while bearing all these factors in mind.
