An e-seminar series titled “Rising of the Women in the Logistics Sector” organized by Istanbul Kültür University Logistics Club on March 8 2021 Monday. The event, where Logistics Program Director Ayşegül Kılıç was the moderator, took place in three sessions. A certificate of participation was given to our students who participated in all three activities.

Participating in the first session as a speaker, UPS Customer Experience Center Manager Merve Mut Tatlı talked about the need for equal representation of men and women in business life and their experiences in business life.

 The speaker of the second session, Mars Logistics Human Resources Director Nihal KANSU, talked about the fact that women cannot limit themselves to only one field but gain experience in many areas and the human resources practices in their own companies.
 Finally, Pınar Uysal, The Manager of the Department of Liquid and Gas Transportation of Link Logistics, who participated as a speaker in the third session, emphasized that a woman will overcome the responsibilities she will take on as hard as a man and that as a woman in this sector, we should always develop ourselves and focus on the concept of foreign language.

In order to raise awareness, female members of the Logistics Club board were at the forefront of this event. Our guests, who inspired our students, also clarified the curiosity of our students at the end of the event.
