A book titled "The Fundamentals of Civil Aviation Management" which includes a chapter titled "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" by Lect. Evren Yılmaz, one of the academics from the Program of Flight Operations Management, has been published.

The book is a useful resource for university and high school students who are interested in aviation, and academics working in aviation programs.

Captain Özlem Yaren Güneş, who served as First Officer at Turkish Airlines, gave a seminar titled "Being an Airline Captain" on Monday, May 29, 2023, moderated by Lecturer Evren Yılmaz, one of our Program of Flight Operations Management academicians.

A practical training titled "The Importance of First Aid in an Emergency" was held with the joint efforts of IKU Awareness Club and IKU Vocational School Child Development Program,  on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall.  In the training given by Lecturer Emin Aksan and Lecturer Canan Bulut from IKU Vocational School, the participants were informed on the ways to avoid wrong interventions until the professional help comes to respond to the emergency, and how to respond quickly, effectively and appropriately to the injured.
