Computer technologies, which covers an important part of our daily lives, is a branch that requires expertise with its use, programming, repair and operation effectively.
Our program aims to educate developers who are able to lead in their field in technological conditions that change in the world scale, who are respectful of human values, to produce unique information and to contribute to the life-long education and development process of the society by sharing the information. It is a program that teaches at global standards and is a reference in its category.
The thesis that produces solutions is produced by all our students under the direction of their academic advisors.
Current software languages and technologies are used in fully applied, innovative and researcher courses in computer laboratory environment.

Education Process
The curriculum at Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School of Program of Computer Programming is organized in such a way that our students will be able to learn and use all the current technologies in the software fields. In order for our students to be proficient in all areas of computer technology, in addition to vocational courses, foreign language, mathematics, elective courses are included within the program. Programming courses include object-oriented programming, computer languages supporting database applications, and software for using telecommunications technologies. In addition to current programming languages, algorithms, structural, object-based and visual programming languages, mobile technologies, game programming, web programming, operating systems are taught in various courses. Students learn text, spreadsheet and presentation software from a professional perspective. In the fourth semester, they create a project group and produce a professional software and prepare a thesis.
Our students do internships within the scope of workplace practices. These workplace studies are a very important experience for our students to prepare for their professional life. They will develop their lifelong knowledge with the “Computer Programmer” formation they gained within two years. Our students graduate as computer programmers who know the method of learning. Especially today's technological developments are very fast and require software developers who can constantly renew themselves.
Our students start their professional life successfully in various sectors with the knowledge and experience they have gained or continue to various degree programs through the vertical transfer exam.
Practice and Internship
Students enrolled in Computer Programming at Istanbul Kültür University are required to attend courses, applications and laboratory studies at least 75 percent. At the end of each year there is also a requirement for 20 working days of workplace training twice.
Istanbul Kültür University was founded in July 1997 as a foundation University with a “Public Legal Entity.” In our first year, the Program of Computer Programming started its educational journey at our Vocational School. It gave its first graduates in the 1998-1999 academic year.
All of our graduates have been successful in life or have continued their degree completion programs through vertical transfer.
Through the Erasmus Office of our university, successful students are given the opportunity to go abroad with Erasmus+ student mobility and Erasmus+ student internship mobility programs.
Our graduates are able to work as technician, technical support specialist, systems specialist, sales specialist, expert programmer and middle managers in all the institutions and organizations, including financial institutions, communication and information technology and infrastructure design, installation, operation, technical services, software and web design companies.
