Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School Alternative Energy Resources Program mission; is to train individuals who need all kinds of knowledge and skills related to their field, have team spirit, are confident, followers and implementers of innovations.

In the industrialized countries, the Alternative Energy Resources Technology Program under the energy and electricity section, which provides a wide range of employment opportunities for the energy sector, has been developed taking into account the needs of the sector.

Alternative energy sources often lead to complex technology applications and the need for personnel to perform these applications. The aim of this program; The aim of this course is to provide the students with the necessary knowledge and skills for the evaluation of alternative energy sources such as geothermal, wind, solar, biomass and heat pumps which have very important potential in our country and to train qualified personnel.

Our students have the opportunity to continue their undergraduate and graduate education by taking Vertical Transfer Exam after completing their associate degree education.

At this time in the age of technology, as in its time zone, the number one element of economic and social development has always been energy from the past to the world. It is another well known fact that a sustainable development will be possible with a constant and high quality energy supply. Our need for energy, which plays a major role in raising our living standards, is increasing day by day.

Therefore, considering the existing potential and the needs that may occur in the coming years, the need for technical staff trained in the Alternative Energy Resources sector will increase. In this context, our University Alternative Energy Resources Technology Program aims to meet this need in the best way by cooperating with the representatives of the energy sector. Graduates of the Alternative Energy Resources Technology Program can work in organizations operating in the field of energy production and distribution, in enterprises that produce materials based on energy technology, or in businesses that produce maintenance and service for all these technologies. They can also be employed in energy-based environmental technology manufacturers or service producing organizations in the relevant field. Within the scope of the program, students will be able to complete their education in cooperation with the representatives of the energy sector and perform their internships in these sectors. Students with high success within the program will be able to graduate as an engineer by vertical transfer to 4-year undergraduate programs.
