IKU Vocational School organized a talk titled "Taking Laughing Seriously" on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in the Incirli building of the Bakırköy campus.

Prof. Dr. Ahu Tunçel, one of the academicians of Maltepe University Department of Philosophy, attended the event as the speaker. Prof. Dr. Tunçel explained the relationship of the phenomenon of "laughter" with political powers since ancient times, from the perspectives of philosophers.

"Women's Rights and Gender Equality" event was held on Thursday, March 21, in cooperation with IKU Vocational School Business Management Program and Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program. In the event, where lawyer Nursaç Katırcı was the speaker, women's rights, unseen types of violence and gender equality were discussed and awareness was created in the participants.
