A notable conversation protocol was signed between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) and the Turkish Knitwear Industrialists Association (TRİSAD) with the aim of training the textile experts of the future.
The protocol signing ceremony, attended by Zeytinburnu District Governor Adem Uslu, TRİSAD Chairperson of the Board of Directors Mustafa Balkuv, TRİSAD Board members and TRİSAD Education Officer Murat Tataoğlu, was held on Thursday, June 6, at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, the IKU Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe remarked on the opportunities the collaboration will provide to students and highlighted IKU’s innovative approach to education.
TRİSAD Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Mustafa Balkuv, talked about the benefits of the association to the sector and education. TRİSAD Textile Technology Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Principal Nesrin Akgün elaborated on the contributions of the collaboration to vocational education.
This cooperation protocol aims to make significant contributions to the development of education in the textile industry in Türkiye.
