Officials from the Türkiye Knitwear Industrialists Association (TRİSAD) visited Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School on Monday, October 7, 2024. During the meeting, the first steps were taken for projects that can be implemented in the Fashion Design Program in the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
Within the scope of the university-industry cooperation between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) and TRİSAD, the "Training of Educators" program was held. The first practical training was held on Thursday, August 22 at Uğur Konfeksiyon ve Tic. A.Ş. in the field of "Knitwear Pattern Design and Production." Our Fashion Design Program academicians Lecturer Neslihan Tokat Ozan, Lecturer Nilgün Demirhan, and Lecturer Mehmet Çağlayan attended the training program, the first step of which was completed on August 29.
Türkiye became one of the five countries with a superconducting electron accelerator with the Turkish Accelerator and Radiation Laboratory (TARLA). We congratulate our Head of Vocational School Alternative Energy Resources Program Assist. Prof. Makbule Tamkaş, who works as an expert researcher at the Turkish Accelerator and Radiation Laboratory (TARLA), which is the first and only one in our country, and wish them continued success.
