IKU Vocational School Program of Fashion Design students are working on felt in the company of Instructor and Felt Artist Dr. Selçuk Gürışık, within the scope of the "Basic Art Education" course. Dr. Gürışık has created an exemplary model in the field of branding by bringing the cultural symbols of felt, which is a handicraft product, from traditional to contemporary and from local to global. The Felt-Handcraft movement he started is also used by other designers and artists today. Thinking that every art has a craft and every craft has an art, Dr. Gürışık carries his collections to the future with innovative and forward-thinking techniques and attaches importance to this value in the education of our young designer candidates.
