Lecturer Emin Aksan from IKU Vocational School participated in the Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Training Activity held at Yarmouk University in Jordan, one of IKU’S partner universities, between 16-20 May 2022.
ACCA Turkey, one of the world's largest global professional organizations, had its first face-to-face meeting with Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) after two years of social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students of IKU Program of Business Management as well as, Program of Banking and Insurance attended the event organized by IKU Accounting and Auditing Club. The event where the subject of “The Future of Accounting and Auditing and Generation Z” was discussed, was moderated by Lecturer Dr. N. Gözde Bircan.

Program of Medical Documentation and Secretariat organized a conference titled “Medical Documentation and Archive Management” on Friday, April 29. Semra Kardaş, Head of Medical Archives of Bahçelievler Family Hospital, attended the event as a speaker, in which Lecturer Zehra Kaşka Üreten, Head of Program of Medical Documentation and Secretariat, was the moderator. At the conference, up-to-date information on the subject of "Medical Documentation and Archive Management" was shared with our students.
Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School (MYO) Program of Radio and TV Technology students visited Istanbul Cinema Museum under the supervision of Lecturer Selin Okumus, the Head of the Program, and Lecturer Furkan Erkoç, one of our academics. Our students, who learned about the important names of Turkish cinema during the trip held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, had the chance to see the Cinematograph created by the Lumiere Brothers, known as the geniuses of the cinema, inspired by the Kinethoscope invented by Edison.

IKU Vocational School Program of Tourism and Hotel Management, together with Clarion Hotel Mahmutbey Quality Manager Cansu Ekmekçi Uğur, provided training on the creation, implementation, supervision and sustainability of quality management systems in hotels.
A sectoral cooperation agreement was signed between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School Program of Tourism and Hotel Management and Hyatt Regency Atakoy Hotel. Within the scope of the agreement; Our students will be offered important opportunities in many subjects, especially internship and full-time job opportunities after graduation, and sectoral training.
