Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) Vocational School management visited Turkish Airlines Flight Training Center on Monday, March 4, 2024, to follow the current developments in the aviation industry. İKÜ Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özer and his assistants lecturer Gözde Kuzu Uluçay and lecturer Kerem Yücesan; Flight Operations Management Program Head Evren Yılmaz met with THY Flight Training Head Burak Bekman and Chief Dispatcher Çağatan Kazım.

Türkiye Knitwear Industrialists' Association (TRİSAD) made an important visit to Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School. TRİSAD Board Member Murat Tataoğlu had talks on cooperation and education projects in the field of fashion and textile.

IKU Vocational School, on Wednesday, February 28, organized a talk titled “On Motivation with Prof. Dr. Acar Baltaş” on Wednesday, February 28. Participating in the event as a speaker, Prof. Dr Acar Baltaş shared valuable information with his presentation titled "Giving Life Its Due". Prof. Dr Baltaş also drew attention to issues such as psychological resilience and developing positive attitudes.

At the end of the event, a commemorative plate was presented to our guest by our Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe and our Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özer.

Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School (Vocational School) held the "2023-2024 Fall Semester Vocational School Academic General Assembly Meeting" on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. The agenda of the meeting attended by the academic staff included issues related to new term plans and the development of the vocational school. Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School Construction Technology Program organized a seminar titled "THBB (Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association) Introduction and Developments in Concrete Technology" on Thursday, December 21, 2023. The event, which was moderated by Lecturer Elif Aydın, Head of the Construction Technology Program, was attended by Reşat Sönmez, Secretary General of Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association, Hakan Zengin, Corporate Communications Manager and Cenk Kılınç, Master Civil Engineer, Test Laboratory Manager.

An event titled "New Media and Personal Branding" was held on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School. Brandİstanbul PR Agency President Hatice Kumalar attended the event, held with the joint efforts of the E-Commerce and Marketing Program and the Public Relations and Promotion Program, as a speaker.  Topics such as public relations, media and personal branding were discussed at length at the event.

The application of the project named "Chaos: Nature, Science and Art" prepared under the leadership of IKU Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özer and under the direction of Head of Program of Graphic Design Assist. Prof. Dr. Emin Sansarcı was made within the scope of "TUBİTAK 4004 Nature Education and Science Schools Support Program". 

A technical visit to Denizbank Yenibosna Branch was organised by Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School Program of Banking and Insurance, as a part of the “Fund and Risk Management in Banking” course and accompanied by Lecturer Adem Torun, on Thursday, November 30, 2023. On the trip Denizbank Branch Manager Nurcan Tursun and Lecturer  Adem Torun explained the intricacies of banking to the students and empowered the aspiring young bankers to  see the work being done at first hand.

A panel talk titled “Songs for a Lifetime, Lives That Turn into Songs”, exploring the intersections of music and literature, to which the IKU Dean of the Faculty of Science and Letters and a faculty member of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature Prof. Dr.  Ömür Ceylan attended as a speaker, was held on Tuesday, November 22, 2023, at the Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) Vocational School. The event alongside IKU Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe and IKU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız, was attended by various IKU faculty members. Prof. Dr.

Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program held an event titled "The Place and Future of Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program Graduates in the Private Sector" on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Kadir Arıcı, General Manager of Private Florya Hospital, attended the event moderated by Medical Documentation and Secretariat Program Head lecturer Emin Aksan as a speaker. Kadir Arıcı, a graduate of the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program, talked about all the processes of the profession in the private sector.
