Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School (Vocational School) Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özer and his assistants came together with working employees on March 8, International Women's Day, hosted by AKPAZ. In the meeting, held in a friendly atmosphere, the roles of women in society were highlighted and the value of women's labor was emphasized.

A talk titled "Road Map of a Software Developer" was organized by IKU Vocational School on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the Design Factory in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus. Software Developer & Instructor Murat Yücedağ, who attended the event as a speaker, shared information about the functioning of the software industry, its future and employment opportunities in this field.

Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) Vocational School management visited Turkish Airlines Flight Training Center on Monday, March 4, 2024, to follow the current developments in the aviation industry. Türkiye Knitwear Industrialists' Association (TRİSAD) made an important visit to Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School. TRİSAD Board Member Murat Tataoğlu had talks on cooperation and education projects in the field of fashion and textile.

IKU Vocational School, on Wednesday, February 28, organized a talk titled “On Motivation with Prof. Dr. Acar Baltaş” on Wednesday, February 28. Participating in the event as a speaker, Prof. Dr Acar Baltaş shared valuable information with his presentation titled "Giving Life Its Due". Prof. Dr Baltaş also drew attention to issues such as psychological resilience and developing positive attitudes.

At the end of the event, a commemorative plate was presented to our guest by our Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe and our Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özer.

Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School (Vocational School) held the "2023-2024 Fall Semester Vocational School Academic General Assembly Meeting" on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. The agenda of the meeting attended by the academic staff included issues related to new term plans and the development of the vocational school. The event, which was moderated by Lecturer Elif Aydın, Head of the Construction Technology Program, was attended by Reşat Sönmez, Secretary General of Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association, Hakan Zengin, Corporate Communications Manager and Cenk Kılınç, Master Civil Engineer, Test Laboratory Manager.

An event titled "New Media and Personal Branding" was held on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School. Brandİstanbul PR Agency President Hatice Kumalar attended the event, held with the joint efforts of the E-Commerce and Marketing Program and the Public Relations and Promotion Program, as a speaker.  Topics such as public relations, media and personal branding were discussed at length at the event.
