Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School hosted Private Aile Hospital General Manager Pınar Kavak, Human Resources Manager Ayçin Kılıç and Nursing Services Manager Leyla Aydoğdu within the scope of the "Medical Documentation" course given by Lecturer Emin Aksan, Head of Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program.
Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School of higher education hosted Dr. Rim Mosbeh from Université de Sousse, one of our partner universities, at the Incirli building of Bakırköy campus on Friday, 3rd of November 2023, to develop cooperation and produce new projects.
A book titled "The Fundamentals of Civil Aviation Management" which includes a chapter titled "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" by Lect. Evren Yılmaz, one of the academics from the Program of Flight Operations Management, has been published.
The book is a useful resource for university and high school students who are interested in aviation, and academics working in aviation programs.
Captain Özlem Yaren Güneş, who served as First Officer at Turkish Airlines, gave a seminar titled "Being an Airline Captain" on Monday, May 29, 2023, moderated by Lecturer Evren Yılmaz, one of our Program of Flight Operations Management academicians.
A practical training titled "The Importance of First Aid in an Emergency" was held with the joint efforts of IKU Awareness Club and IKU Vocational School Child Development Program, on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall. In the training given by Lecturer Emin Aksan and Lecturer Canan Bulut from IKU Vocational School, the participants were informed on the ways to avoid wrong interventions until the professional help comes to respond to the emergency, and how to respond quickly, effectively and appropriately to the injured.
An event titled "Interview Simulation" and organised IKU Vocational School (MYO) was held at IKU İncirli campus on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. In the event moderated by Lecturer Kübra Öztürk and Muhammet Ali Hazar acting as the speaker, group interviews were conducted and the students were informed about the current interview techniques.
A seminar titled "Light Pollution" was held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, in cooperation with Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Prof. Dr. Dursun Koçer, one of the faculty members of the Department of Physics, who participated in the event as a speaker, informed us about light pollution and the solution methods of light pollution.
A technical trip to the roof GES application, done in cooperation with Istanbul Enerji A.Ş, area of Cemal Kamacı Sports Facility was organized by Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School (MYO) Alternative Energy Resources Technologies Program. During the trip held on Tuesday, May 23, the students had the chance to practice on site.

The Second of the "Aviation Summit" organized by IKU Vocational School, was held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall. In the event, participated by aviation high schools and other participants, our students had the chance to get to know prominent names in the field of Aviation and conversed with them. At the summit, the development of aviation, employment opportunities and how the speakers advanced their careers were discussed.
