Electronic Technology can be defined as controlling the hardware and production in the industry by using electronic circuit systems. The aim of Electronic Technology program; to raise human source who can maintenance and repair issues such as industrial vehicles used in the assembly, electronic systems and equipment to recognize, know the features and industrial systems and equipment.
With the associate degree program of Istanbul Kültür University, it is aimed to train qualified professionals who respond to the needs of the sector in the field of Electronic Technology and have gained the necessary professional competencies in line with scientific and technological developments.
T.C.Istanbul Kultur University is a foundation university established on 15th July 1997 with the law no 4281. It has education and training in accordance with the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and has all rights and powers of a public university.
The offices, classrooms and laboratories of our buildings located in Şirinevler Campus like a typical city university are carefully constructed and equipped with care. In addition to Şirinevler Campus, the new Ataköy Campus of 65 thousand m2, 40 thousand m2 closed area and 25 thousand m2 open area, was put into service in the 2004-2005 academic year. This campus has halls where various scientific, social and cultural activities can be held. Starting from the 2009 - 2010 academic year, a new campus of 6000 m2 was opened for the students in Vocational High Schools. The Vocational School of Technical Sciences continues its education in Bakırköy Campus İncirli Building with its experienced staff.
Starting from the 2026–2027 Academic Year, the workplace-based vocational education model (3+1 model) system has been adopted.

The training program has been prepared by combining the experience of many years with the requirements of modern technology. Courses in the program include basic principles of electronics, assembly, maintenance and repair of electronic equipment, measuring instruments, using computers and the use of CAD / CAM and similar programs used in the industry, drawing and reading electronic circuit schema with computers, how to control the industrial machines with computers, electronically and repair, technical report preparation, project preparation, workplace and personnel at the operating table to ensure the safety of work.

In this program, which has a wide range of business opportunity, students learn basic principles of electronics, assembly, how to maintenance and repair of electronic equipment, using measuring instruments, using computers and using CAD / CAM and similar programs used in industry, communication technologies, drawing and reading electronic circuit diagrams with computer, industrial machines and to make maintenance and repair when necessary, to prepare technical reports, to prepare projects, to ensure the safety of the workplace and personnel at the operating table. Graduates can work as a technician in state institutions and as an intermediate skilled in the private sector
