IKU PROGRAM OF ALTERNATIVE ENERGY RESOURCES TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS ATTENDED SOLAR ISTANBUL SOLAR ENERGY FAIR

Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School (MYO) Program of Alternative Energy Resources Technology students had the chance to meet with the best companies in the field by participating in the Solar Istanbul Solar Energy Fair held in Tuzla Viaport Marina together with Program Head Lecturer Dr. Makbule Tamkaş. Our students also visited the Istanbul Energy Inc. stand, which is one of the biggest supporters of the Program of Alternative Energy Resources Technology.

PROGRAM OF TOURISM AND HOTEL MANAGEMENT STUDENTS RECEIVED APPLIED CONCIERGE TRAINING AT AJWA SULTANAHMET HOTEL

Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School Program of Tourism and Hotel Management students attended the hands-on concierge training at Ajwa Sultanahmet Hotel on Monday, 28 March. The training, accompanied by Program of Tourism and Hotel Management Head Lecturer Pelin Tuna Arslan, was given by Kerem Katıoğlu, Education Director of Ajwa Sultanahmet Hotel Head Concierge, Les Clef d'Or Turkey.

JOB SEARCH AND INTERVIEW TECHNIQUES TRAINING

Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School Program of Tourism and Hotel Management hosted Fatih Baycan, the Founding Partner of H&F Human Resources Consultancy and the author of the book Interview and Job Search Techniques, on Monday, March 14. In the event moderated by Program of Tourism and Hotel Management Head Lecturer Pelin Tuna Arslan; How our students should prepare for the sector, from which platforms they can search for jobs, face-to-face or online interviews and CV preparation techniques were explained.

ONLINE SALES AND CONCEPTS IN TOURISM TRAINING

Istanbul Kültür University Program of Tourism and Hotel Management organized the "Online Sales and Concepts in Tourism Training" on Wednesday, March 23. Adonis.com XML Sales Manager Gamze Eratay attended the training moderated by Program of Tourism and Hotel Management Head, Lecturer Pelin Tuna Arslan. During the training, online sales channels in the tourism sector and basic concepts related to online sales were discussed.

PROGRAM OF TOURISM AND HOTEL MANAGEMENT STUDENTS HAD PRACTICAL TRAINING AT GALATAPORT ISTANBUL

On-site practical training was held in Galataport Istanbul on Monday, March 21, within the scope of the "Cruise Transport and Marinas" course, accompanied by Cangezi Tourism Founder İlker Horozcu, by the Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School Program of Tourism and Hotel Management. Galataport Deputy General Manager & First Turkish President of MedCruise Union, Figen Ayan, explained the Galataport Istanbul project and its effects on tourism to our students.

IKU VOCATIONAL SCHOOL HAS BEEN GRANTED GROUND HANDLING INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION AUTHORIZATION BY THE GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF CIVIL AVIATION

In the 25th year of our university, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation granted the Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School the authorization for internal and external training and certification in the field of "Ground Handling" through the trainer certificate numbered HAD-YHM 309. Within the scope of the training authorization, Vocational School Program of Aviation students will be able to take advantage of this opportunity before graduating and be exempt from the authorized training subjects when they enter the sector.

Lecturer Emin Aksan, one of the academicians of IKU Vocational School of Program of Opticianry took courses of Social Entrepreneurship, Public Health and Financial Analysis in Health Institutions between 14-18 March 2022 at Saint Joseph University of Beirut, one of our partner universities within the scope of KA171 Project Periods Erasmus+ Personnel Training Mobility.
