Assist. Prof. H. Neyir Tekeli, Academic Head of Aviation Programs at Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School, and Lecturer Evren Yılmaz, one of the Academics of Program of Flight Operations Management, met with Osman Yılmaz, General Manager of ÇELEBİ Ground Handling Inc., and Gökçen Dervişoğlu, Human Resources Director, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, they had a meeting. In the meeting, which was very productive for both parties; The development of aviation, the impact of the pandemic process on aviation, internship and sectoral cooperation were discussed.

The article titled “EVALUATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS OF SECONDARY HOUSING” by Assist. Prof. Hacer Neyir Tekeli, Head of Civil Air Transport Management and Civil Aviation Cabin Services Programs at IKU Vocational School (MYO), was published in INTERNATIONAL SOCIAL MENTALITY AND RESEARCHER THINKERS JOURNAL (SMART JOURNAL).

Lecturer Evren Yılmaz, one of the academicians of Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School (MYO) Program of Flight Operations Management, met Pegasus Airlines Head of Ground Operations Mustafa Yavaşoğlu. During the meeting, what kind of projects can be developed for our young people, who are our future, the latest situation of the pandemic process, the effect of the process on airlines, and internship and cooperation issues were discussed.

IKU Vocational School Program of Banking and Insurance Second Education Head Lecturer Dr. Ayşegül Berrak Köten's paper titled “Determination of the Relationship Between Non-Performing Loans and Profitability in the Turkish Banking System with Panel Regression Analysis” presented at the 10th Istanbul Finance Congress (IFC-2021), was published in the 14th volume of Press Academia Procedia (PAP).

Evren Yılmaz and Seçgin Köroğlu, academicians of Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School (MYO) Program of Flight Operations Management, met with Fatih Koşak, Chief Director of Istanbul Atatürk Airport State Airports Authority. During the meeting, which was very productive for both sides, the development of aviation, internship and cooperation were discussed.

Lecturer Kübra Mertel from the academics of IKU Vocational School, wrote the chapter titled “Motivasyon Araçları ve Çalışan Güçlendirme” of the book titled “Stratejik İnsan Kaynakları Yönetimi ve Çağdaş Yaklaşımlar” edited by Prof. Dr. Yonca Deniz Gürol and Tuğba Karaboğa.

Lecturer Emin Aksan, one of the academicians of IKU Vocational School, was the guest of the program “Workaholic with Sema Baysal” broadcast on Business Channel Turkish TV channel. Lecturer Aksan made evaluations about health, health management, education activities with the health sector, the relationship between health-academicians and our training processes that we have successfully carried out especially during the pandemic period.

The event titled “5 O’Clock Tea Talks at IKU Fashion Club” organized by Istanbul Kültür University Fashion Club on December 24, Friday at Kültür College Alumni Clubhouse. The club students gathered under the management of Lecturer Nilgün Demirhan in order to increase the motivation during the finals week, planning the upcoming semester and to be together before the New Year’s Eve.
