Program of E-Commerce and Marketing held an event titled “Understanding the Existence of SEO” on Thursday, December 2. In the event in which Cihat Murat Yüksel, Webtures SEO Director, was a speaker, the topics of thinking like Google, performing target audience analysis and SEO stages through projects were evaluated with current examples.
Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School Program of Radio and TV Technology organized a trip to Uçankuş TV on Sunday, 28 November 2021. Our students, who had the opportunity to examine the sector on site during the trip, also participated in the Sunday Magazine program presented by Lecturer Gökay Kalaycıoğlu, one of the academicians of the Program of Radio and TV Technology, and had the opportunity to see the stages of the production of the program on site.

Neyir Tekeli’s chapter titled “The Importance and Role of Digital Marketing in the Preference of Touristic Products in Turkey” was published in the book Advances in Hospitalty and Tourism Informations Tecnology, published by the University of South Florida.

Vocational School Program of Health Institutions Management Lecturer Kübra Mertel attended the Erasmus+ KA103 Partner Countries Personnel Teaching Mobility and Human Resources training held at Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft Ludwigshafen within the scope of the 2019-2020 Project Term.
Lecturer Ayşegül Berrak Köten, Head of the Secondary Education Program of Banking and Insurance, presented her paper titled “Determination of the Relationship Between Non-Performing Loans and Profitability in the Turkish Banking System with Panel Regression Analysis” at the 10th Istanbul Finance Congress (IFC-2021) held on November 4, 2021.
Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School Program of Radio and TV Technology organized a trip to Tolan Films on Monday, November 1 to provide students with the opportunity to examine the sector on site. The set environment was created by showing equipment to our students, who had the opportunity to see how clips, TV series and similar shootings would be, by Tolan Films officials, who produced important clips and commercials such as Aleyna Tilki, Vestel and Vodafone.
Program of Alterneative Energy Resources Technology organized a technical trip to Istanbul Energy Inc.'s Silivri Seymen Biomass Energy Production Facility under the leadership of Program Director Lecturer Dr. Makbule Tamkaş and Assist. Prof. Sawsan Başpınar with the participation of 1st and 2nd year students. We would like to thank Istanbul Energy Inc. General Manager Yüksel Yalçın, Burcu Karaca, Yunus Çelik, Facility Operations Chief Engineer Serkan Çakmak, Engineer İlker Aslı Yuksek and all facility engineers for their contributions to our students who made the trip happen.
