IKU Vocational School

The first graduates of the Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Vocational School (MYO) Program of Alternative Energy Resources Technology came together at the alumni dinner organized by Head of the Program Lecturer Dr. Makbule Tamkaş and one of our academicians, Asst. Prof. Sawsan Başpınar.  Our graduates and academics chatting in a pleasant atmosphere also took souvenir photos at the meeting.

Head of the Program of Business Management Lecturer Nezriye Gözde Bircan presented the full text paper titled A Problem Of Corporate Culture Diversity In Organizations, Management and Auditing Of It: A Discussion On Telecommuting Term at the 10th International Congress of Social, Humanities and Educational Sciences (10th International Congress on Social Sciences- Humanities and Education) held on September 16-17, 2021.

“The Effect of Macroeconomic Variables on the Stock Exchange Performance of Real Estate Investment Trusts: Panel Regression Analysis” presented by Lecturer Ayşegül Berrak Köten, Head of IKU Vocational School Secondary Education Program of Banking and Insurance, at the Global Business Research Congress (GBRC-2021), 7th Global Business Research Congress Trusts” was published in Press Academia Procedia.
 

A congratulation ceremony was held at Hadiqa Cafe & Restaurant for the students who finished the program with a degree on Monday, August 16, 2021, by the IKU Vocational School Business Management Program. Business Management Program Head Lecturer N. Gözde Bircan and academics Lecturer Merve Eseoğlu and Lecturer Kübra Mertel attended the event; The winner of the program, Can Ertuğral, the second of the program, Yusuf Aslan, and the third of the program, A Ebru Bayram, were congratulated and presented with certificates of appreciation and gifts.

Head of the Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School Program of Air Logistics Lecturer Dr. Gökhan Kırbaç, presented his paper titled “The Importance of Global Outsourcing in Supply Chain Management” at “Globalization and International Problems in the 21st Century Conference” organized online by Avrasya University between July 8-9, 2021.

Head of Business Management Program, Lecturer N. Gözde Bircan's article titled "Importance of Mock Audits in Auditing" was published in the July 2021 / 65th issue of the Journal of Accounting Institute, a peer-reviewed publication of the Faculty of Business Administration of Istanbul University.

In the article titled "Why Tourism" published in the Hotel Journal these days, when the YKS results were announced and many students were excitedly searching for their preferences, students of Istanbul Kültür University Program of Tourism and Hotel Management gave advices to those who want to choose the tourism program.

Head of the Programs of Civil Air Transport Management and Civil Aviation Cabin Services Assist. Prof. Neyir Tekeli’s in book chapter titled ‘’Factors Affecting the Investment Decision and Selection of Investment Location in Tourism Investment Projects’’ took place in the book titled ‘’Tourism from the Perspective of Business, Marketing and Culture" published by Detay Publishing .
