“RENEWABLE ENERGY AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN THE FIELD OF DIGITALIZATION IN ENERGY”

Assoc. Prof. Ozan Erdinç, Head of IEEE Turkey Branch & academician of Yıldız Technical University, gave a seminar titled “Renewable Energy and New Technologies in the field of Digitalization in Energy” for the students of IKU Alternative Energy Resources Technology Program. In the event, our students were informed in detail about the innovations in the energy sector and the future of the sector.

"AIR CARGO TRANSPORTATION BEFORE AND AFTER PANDEMIC"

An e-seminar titled "Air Cargo Transportation Before and After Pandemic" was organized by the Logistics Club on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 16:00. Gebrüder Weiss Transport and Logistics Business Development Manager Mehmet Kali attended the event held on Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application as a speaker. The progress of air cargo transportation after the pandemic was discussed at the event in which Logistics Club Head İbrahim Selim and Logistics Club Board Member Yağmur Algaş were the moderators.

"PERFORMANCE ANXIETY AND INTERNAL MOTIVATION IN THE DIGITAL AGE"

IKU Marketing Club organized a webinar titled “Performance Anxiety and Internal Motivation in the Digital Age” on Tuesday, May 4th. Specialist Psychologist Talha Şahin Han, who attended the event in which Marketing Club Consultant Lecturer Emine Anık and Head of Marketing Club Sabri Öztürk were the moderators, talked about issues such as loss of motivation, future and performance anxiety that may occur in students with the new dynamics that the pandemic process has brought to our lives and education system. Our guest also gave advice on the intrinsic motivation process.

VOCATIONAL SCHOOL STUDENTS RECEIVED CERTIFICATES OF ACHIEVEMENT FOR MICROSOFT TURKEY PEKAUP ONLINE EDUCATION SERIES

Students who participated in the online training seminars series that lasted for 5 weeks in the spring term of 2020-2021 and who were successful were certified by the Microsoft PeakUp Academy, within the scope of the cooperation efforts in education with the Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School Business Management Program and Microsoft Turkey PeakUp.

STUDENTS OF IKU VOCATIONAL SCHOOL PROGRAM OF LOGISTICS AND PROGRAM OF AIR LOGISTICS APPLIED TO 18TH INTERUNIVERSITY LOGISTICS CASE CONTEST

Yağmur Algaş and Özge Mete, our students from IKU Vocational School Program of Air Logistics Aleyna Taşkın, applied to the Interuniversity Logistics Case Contest with the academic mentoring of Head of the Program of Air Logistics Lecturer Dr. Gökhan Kırbaç and Head of the Program of Logistics Lecturer Ayşegül Kılıç. Organized for the 18th time this year in cooperation with the Mars Logistics and Logistics Association (LODER), the Interuniversity Logistics Case Contest is a contest where students compete as a team to produce solutions for real logistics cases and win awards.

IKU VOCATIONAL SCHOOL BOARD EVALUATED DIGITAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION METHOD CURRICULUM STUDIES AND STUDENT EXPECTATIONS IN DIGITAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

The IKU Vocational School (MYO) Board held a remote access meeting at the 1A01 lecture hall, one of the hybrid classrooms of the İncirli campus, on Friday, April 30, 2021. In the committee, IKU MYO digital vocational education method curriculum studies and student expectations in digital vocational education were evaluated. The Vocational School Student Representative also attended the meeting, where full closure measures and how to use hybrid classrooms more effectively with distance digital education in epidemic processes were discussed.

Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School (MYO) Program of Public Relations and Publicity organized an e-seminar titled “End-to-End Operations Management” on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Moderated by the Public Relations and Publicity Program 1st Class Representative Sevgi Rabuş and the Public Relations and Publicity Program 2nd Class Representative & İKÜ Vocational School Student Representative Caner Gökay Guguk, the guest of the event was WORLDEF GLOBAL EVENTS Event Operations Manager Gizem Gayretli. 

RES. ASSIST. İREM ORAN ATTENDED THE “TED ISTANBUL COLLEGE OCCUPATIONS DAY”

Head of the Program of E-Commerce and Marketing Res. Assist. İrem Oran attended the “TED Istanbul College Occupations Day” event on Thursday, April 29, and made a presentation on the field of Digital Marketing with academic and sectoral information. In the event, which was held in two sessions; Res. Assist. Irem Oran, gave information on the course contents, fields of study and industry practices in the field of digital marketing, also answered the questions at the end of the session.
