IKU Vocational School Program of Opticianry organized a webinar titled “Contact Lenses” on Friday, April 2th. Johnson & Johnson Turkey Vision Care Medical Account Manager Dilara Doğan, Medical Account Manager Gülçin Şentürk, Area Sales Manager Serhan Par, Professional Education and Development Manager Banu Arslan, Marketing Manager Pınar Yiğiter Sobacı and Eye Diseases Specialist Op. Dr. Hakan Özkan attended the event as a speaker. The students showed great interest in the event, whose moderator was Lecturer Emin Aksan, an academic of the Program of Opticianry.
It was emphasized in the webinar that giving the prescription to the patient correctly is an important factor. The importance of prescription was emphasized by both the physician and the optician, and detailed up-to-date information on contact lens prescription was provided.
